About being natural....
So, I just saw a commercial for Schick razors the implied that a woman's pubic hair should be trimmed and neat, specifically in a "V" shape. I'm a bit pissed. Why do we (women) have to shave our pubic hair? It makes me feel like there are expectations on the way my pubic region should and frankly that's no one's fucking business. I am so tired of industries deciding for me what i should look like, how I should smell, what body functions are appropriate and which are not. Smooth bodies are something promoted by the porn industry, it's what they tell men is sexy and then expect other women to fall into the same physical appearance.
It's so unrealistic and so unnatural. We have these functions and parts of out body for a reason. Pubic hair keeps germs from entering the body. I've heard it said that body odor is a natural bug repellent. And the scent produced by the body is a aphrodisiac to the opposite sex. BAH! Marketing makes up these ridiculous images and then tells us we need to be look like them. There is nothing wrong with the way we were made.....the only thing wrong is the way we're told we are supposed to be.

Schick is telling us (women) what we're all told repeatedly from the beginning of life - be fuckable or die. Have you seen the ads for Latisse? It's this crazy hair-growing mascara for "inadequate lashes." What the hell are inadequate lashes? The side-effects are ridiculous and include a possible change in the color of the iris. But who cares if your irises are permanently altered - as long as your lashes make men want to pork you.
I just saw this commercial by the way...ridiculous.
