Today I realized...

that I will be sad to leave this place some day. I bitch and moan often about living here in Anderson, and I feel as though it is legitimate. I, we, feel as though the time has come to move on to whatever God has planned for this next phase of life. And while I am giddy with excitement about the possibilities this next step holds, I will be sad to leave this place.

I was driving home today through one of my favorite places, Noblesville. It is spring time and spring time in Indiana is unlike anything else. In Indiana the world slows way down at this point in time. People become friendlier and more active. The fields fill up with green stalks and the animals are let out to graze freely.The air is heavy with the scent of growth and the proud spring storms stand tall in the skies. Simple living at its best.

Yes, I will miss this place when I leave it and the people that dwell here.
